Upon arrival, the hotel had an inviting appearance, but it quickly turned into a nightmare when we couldn't access our room due to locked gates after dining out. We called the hotel multiple times for assistance, only to be met with language barriers and disconnection, leaving us drenched in a storm. The following morning, instead of a warm reception, I was met with accusations of abusing staff, completely unfounded and unprofessional.

What did I like about Hotel Rosa? To be fair, pretty much everything! I arrived quite late at night but the guy behind the bar was very happy to prepare a sandwich/snack despite the kitchen being closed. After eating - and drinking some very cold beer - I was shown to my room on the first floor (there's a lift). The room was Spanish - I suppose - in style and spotlessly clean, and I mean spotless. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. I only realised the next morning that I had a lovely balcony...sadly I didn't get time to relax on it! The next morning I took breakfast on the patio area under some impressive vines; a perfectly balanced piece of fruit, croissant, OJ and coffee affair. All very nice and a perfect start to the day. The leisure facilities for a hotel of this size are outstanding; a great pool, tennis court, ping-pong and just a hop, skip and a jump from the beach which is literally at the bottom of the garden! The town is a pleasant 15 minute stroll away and there's plenty going on there; from bars to restaurants to clubs. probably something for everyone. A great hotel, super-friendly staff and a perfect stay.
Leaving it!

This was our fourth visit and still we cannot fault the hotel and staff.
The television - no English speaking television - picture quality very poor.

My journey from doubt to delight
A gem of a hotel! The staff's warmth and personal touches. The room was immaculate and the idyllic grounds were a delight to explore.
The limited vegetarian options offered left us wanting more during our meals.

The breakfast on the terrace was a nice touch and the staff were friendly. The hotel is walking distance from the beach, and I loved the vintage style of the rooms.
One downside was that the swimming pool was under cleaning when we visited, quite a letdown.

We spent a very enjoyable short time here, can recommend to anyone. The hotel was wonderful small and fairly clean, it had good wi-fi, its location was lovely evident in the way he runs the restaurant. The staffs were incredibly attentive and the service was very good!

The Hotel Rosa exudes a charming old-fashioned ambiance, impeccably clean with well-maintained decor. I appreciated the cute staff who catered to my needs, particularly enjoying the lovely outdoor terrace for morning coffee.
Limited Wi-Fi access could be improved.

The hotel was exceptionally clean everywhere. Bedrooms/bathrooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. Bed linen changed frequently throughout the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is small there was a night porter on duty. Hotel just a minutes walk to the beach - and walking distance into Denia town. We had to leave the hotel for an early morning flight - so they even gave us a packed breakfast to eat at the airport. Will certainly stay there again.

It was pretty annoying to deal with spotty breakfast service, where items seemed to run out just as you were about to dig in, I even had to wait for basic things like coffee. It can take the edge off your relaxation while lounging by the pool. The parking situation was a tight squeeze too, so if you're driving in, be ready for some gymnastics with your vehicle.

Hotel Rosa is a lovely hotel, very clean and well looked after, the fixtures and fittings are all very tastefully done. The bedroom was very comfortable with a huge shower. Food was very reasonably priced, as were the bottles of wine. In all a very good place to stay and I look forward to a return visit.
A short walk into Denia, about 15mins but nothing too drastic.

A quiet hotel just right for a relaxing break. The terrace was a haven of peace and tranquillity. Staff were very pleasant and enjoying breakfast underneath the grapevines was superb. Easy 15 minute walk into town along the beach.
The continental breakfast became a little boring after 9 days but we found out that if you wanted a change the staff were prepared to supply yoghurts in addition to fruit. Also they would supply sliced tomatoes to put on your toast so you could make a bruschetta - however it took us several days to find this out. The lunches and evening meals seemed a little limited in choice.
